We are Robert & Christa Pronk and started sailing at an age of 7 years on a small lake in Amsterdam. Our career was not in sailing but as a hobby we sailed the Mediterranean, Carribean and Atlantic ocean including various regattas. Now we start exploring the rivers of Europe with the Christa Maria.
Being on the water in nature or in the middle of a city is a way of live: the feeling of freedom and focus on rest, creation and repositioning. We want to share this with our guests. Sailing in Croatia on the Orion or in Europe with the Christa Maria as floating luxury loft in one of the European cities, nature reserves or navigating on the inspiring EU rivers.
In addition to our ship, the Christa Maria, we are pleased to share our love of sailing with a second ship in our possession: the Orion, a Beneteau Oceanis 40.1. This modern and elegant sailing yacht is moored in the harbour of Zadar, on the beautiful coast of Croatia. Like the Christa Maria, the Orion reflects our passion for quality, comfort and freedom on the water. We spend a lot of time in the Adriatic region ourselves, so it felt like a natural step to offer something special there too.
